Minister Pokharel Assures No Student's Educational Rights Will Be Denied

Kathmandu. Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmita Pokharel, has stated that the government will not deprive any student of their educational rights. He said this while responding to questions raised on the upcoming fiscal year's budget in the House of Representatives meeting.

Responding to suggestions in parliament to merge schools with fewer students, Minister Pokharel said that the government would not deprive any student of their educational rights by merging schools solely based on the number of students. Lawmakers had raised issues such as merging schools and reducing levels based on geographical distance and student numbers.
