BTS Wins Artist of the Year at American Music Awards

Washington DC. South Korean K-pop group BTS has won the 'Artist of the Year' award at the American Music Awards for the second consecutive time. This award is considered the biggest honor of the ceremony. This time BTS won the title by leaving behind popular artists like Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Bad Bunny, Tyga, and Lady Gaga.

Resuming activity in March after a break of about four years, BTS is currently on a world tour. The group, on a world tour worth approximately one billion dollars, is now considered one of the most influential music groups in the world. This year BTS also won the 'Song of the Summer' award. This honor was given to the title song of their album, 'Yet To Come'. BTS's label partner, Catsey, was given the 'New Artist of the Year' title.
