मध्य काठमाडौँमा १३२ केभी क्षमताको भूमिगत प्रसारण लाइन निर्माण हुने

काठमाडौं । नेपाल विद्युत् प्राधिकरणले काठमाडौँको मध्यभागमा १३२ केभी क्षमताको भूमिगत प्रसारण लाइन निर्माण गर्ने भएको छ । चक्रपथभित्र सहज र सहज रुपमा विद्युत् उपलब्ध गराउने लक्ष्यका साथ सो प्रसारण लाइन निर्माण गर्न लागिएको हो ।

विद्युत् खपत बढाउने र सहरमा सौन्दर्य अभिवृद्धि गर्ने लक्ष्यका साथ भूमिगत प्रसारण लाइन निर्माण हुन लागेको बताइएको छ ।

प्रस्तावबमोजिम बालाजु महाराजगञ्ज–राजदरबार–रत्नपार्क हुँदै सिंहदरबारसम्म सो प्रसारण लाइन जोडिनेछ । बालाजु सवस्टशेनदेखि सिंहदरबारसम्म जोडिने सो प्रसारण लाइनको लम्बाइ ११ दशमलव ९२ किलोमिटर रहनेछ ।

डलब सर्किट सो प्रसारण लाइन आगामी तीन वर्षभित्र निर्माण सम्पन्न हुनेछ । यस्तै, महाराजगञ्जमा एक सय ३२÷११ केभी राजदरबारमा एक सय ३२÷११ केभी क्षमताको सवस्टेशन निर्माण हुनेछ ।

यस्तै, रत्नपार्कमा एक सय ३२÷११ केभी र सिंहदरबारमा एक ३२÷६६÷११ केभी क्षमताको सवस्टेशन समेत निर्माण हुनेछ । सो प्रसारण लाइन र सवस्टेशन निर्माणका लागि अनुमति मात्रै प्राधिकरणले विद्युत् विकास विभागमा आवेदन दिएको छ ।

सो प्रसारण लाइनको क्षमता १३२ केभी बराबर रहनेछ । भूमिगत डबल सर्किट रहने सो प्रसारण लाइनमा ३५० मेगावाटसम्मको विद्युत् शक्ति प्रवाह हुनेछ ।

सो प्रसारण लाइन लाइनमा २१ वटा ‘ज्वाइन्ट पिट्स’हरु निर्माण हुनेछ । त्यसको अधिकतम दूरी ५०० मिटरसम्म हुनेछ । आयोजना निर्माणको लागि कूल एक दशमलव ६२ हेक्टर जमिन आवश्यक पर्नेछ ।

सो प्रसारण लाइन निर्माण तथा सञ्चालन गर्दा विद्युत् ऐन, २०४९ को दफा २४ बमोजिम भूक्षय, बाढी, वायुप्रदूषण आदिद्वारा वातावारणमा उल्लेखनीय प्रतिकुल नपर्ने गरी निर्माण गर्नुपर्नेछ ।

विभागले आयोजनाका सम्बन्धमा आवश्यक सुझाव र सल्लाह उपलब्ध गराउन सार्वजनिक सूचनामार्फत आग्रह गरेको छ । प्राधिकरणले यसअघि रत्नपार्क महाराजगञ्ज क्षेत्रमा भूमिगत प्रसारण लाइन निर्माण गरिसकेको छ । काठमाडौँ र ललितपुरका विभिन्न क्षेत्रमा समेत भूमिगत प्रसारण लाइन निर्माणको क्रममा छ ।

पोखरा र भरतपुरमा समेत भूमिगत प्रसारण लाइन निर्माणको अन्तिम चरणमा छ । सहरी सौन्दर्य बढाउने र सहज रुपमा विद्युत् उपलब्ध गराउने उद्देश्यका साथ सुरु गरिएको भूमिगत प्रसारण लाइन निर्माण तोकिएको समयमा पूरा नहुँदा अपेक्षित लक्ष्य हासिल हुन सकेको छैन ।

Kathmandu. The Nepal Electricity Authority is going to construct a 132 kV underground transmission line in the center of Kathmandu. The transmission line is being constructed with the aim of providing electricity easily and conveniently within the ring road.

It is reported that an underground transmission line is being constructed with the aim of increasing electricity consumption and enhancing the beauty of the city.

As per the proposal, the transmission line will be connected to Singha Durbar via Balaju Maharajgunj-Rajdurbar-Ratnapark. The length of the transmission line connecting Balaju substation to Singha Durbar will be 11.92 kilometers.

The construction of the Dolab Circuit transmission line will be completed within the next three years. Similarly, a 132/11 kV substation will be constructed at Rajdurbar in Maharajgunj.

Similarly, a 132/11 kV substation will be constructed in Ratna Park and a 32/66/11 kV substation in Singha Durbar. The NEA has applied to the Department of Electricity Development for permission only for the construction of the transmission line and substation.

The capacity of the transmission line will be 132 kV. The transmission line, which will have an underground double circuit, will carry up to 350 MW of electricity.

21 joint pits will be constructed on the transmission line. The maximum distance will be 500 meters. A total of 1.62 hectares of land will be required for the construction of the project.

While constructing and operating the transmission line, it must be constructed in a manner that does not cause significant adverse effects on the environment due to soil erosion, flooding, air pollution, etc., as per Section 24 of the Electricity Act, 2049 BS.

The department has requested through a public notice to provide necessary suggestions and advice regarding the project. The authority has already constructed an underground transmission line in the Ratnapark Maharajgunj area. Underground transmission lines are also under construction in various areas of Kathmandu and Lalitpur.

The construction of underground transmission lines in Pokhara and Bharatpur is also in the final stages. The construction of the underground transmission lines, which was started with the aim of enhancing urban beauty and providing easy access to electricity, has not been completed on time and the expected goal has not been achieved.
