ADB Approves $115 Million Loan for Nepal's Water and Sanitation

Kathmandu. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a concessional loan of US$115 million for improving water supply and sanitation in Nepal's municipalities.

ADB has stated that more than 850,000 citizens in 13 districts will benefit from the Integrated Water Supply and Sewerage Management Project. According to ADB, the project will play a role in expanding access to drinking water and managing sewerage and wastewater.
