Erika Gurung Wins Bronze Medal for Nepal in 22nd Asian Karate Championship

Kathmandu. Nepal's Erika Gurung has won a bronze medal for Nepal in the 22nd Senior Asian Karate Championship today. Coach Kushal Shrestha informed that Erika won a bronze medal for Nepal in the women's above 68 kg weight category in the competition held in Bali, Indonesia.

In the competition, Erika defeated Taisiya Ultelbayeva of Kazakhstan by 11–2 points. Earlier, Erika, who received a 'bye' in the first round, reached the semifinals by defeating Joni Mangkhia of India 8–0 points in the second round.
