रौतहटमा कृषि तथा जलवायु मौसम मापन केन्द्र स्थापना

रौतहट । चन्द्रपुर नगरपालिका–९ डुमरियामा कृषि तथा जलवायु मौसम मापन केन्द्र स्थापना गरिएको छ । केन्द्रको चन्द्रपुर नगरपालिकाका प्रमुख सञ्जयकुमार काफ्लेले मङ्गलबार उद्घाटन गरे ।

केन्द्रले किसानलाई मौसमसम्बन्धी विभिन्न पूर्वानुमान उपलब्ध गराउनेछ । तापक्रम, वर्षा, हावाको गति मौसमसम्बन्धी तथ्याङ्क केन्द्रमा सङ्कलन हुनेछ । मौसमको अवस्था हेरेर बाली कहिले लगाउने, सिँचाइ कहिले गर्ने र मल तथा औषधि कहिले प्रयोग गर्ने लगायतका विषयमा केन्द्रले जानकारी दिनेछ ।

जिल्ला समन्वय समिति रौतहटका सभापति रामअयोध्या राय यादवले किसानको बाहुल्य भएको रौतहटमा हरेक पालिकाका किसानका लागि यसप्रकारको केन्द्र आवश्यक भएको बताए ।

जल तथा मौसम विभाग मधेश प्रदेशका प्रमुख राजीवकुमार झाले केन्द्र हरेक पाँच किलोमिटरको दूरीमा राख्नुपर्ने बताए । वन क्षेत्रको संरक्षण, पूर्वाधार विकासमा समेत केन्द्रमा महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका हुने कार्यालय प्रमुख झाले बताए ।

अहिलेको अवस्थामा कृषि तथा जलवायु मौसम मापन केन्द्रबाट ८० प्रतिशत प्रक्षेपण मिलेको उनको भनाइ छ । केन्द्रले असिना, खडेरी, अत्यधिक वर्षा वा बाढी जस्ता प्राकृतिक प्रकोपसम्बन्धी पूर्वसूचना प्रवाह गर्ने उनले बताए ।

जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय रौतहटका प्रहरी उपरीक्षक सिताराम रिजालले मानवीय क्षति न्यूनीकरण गर्न केन्द्रले सहयोग गर्ने धारणा राखे ।

Rautahat. An agricultural and climate weather measurement center has been established in Dumaria, Chandrapur Municipality-9. The center was inaugurated by Chandrapur Municipality Mayor Sanjay Kumar Kafle on Tuesday.

The center will provide farmers with various weather forecasts. Weather data such as temperature, rainfall, and wind speed will be collected at the center. The center will provide information on when to plant crops, when to irrigate, and when to use fertilizers and pesticides, depending on the weather conditions.

Ram Ayodhya Ray Yadav, Chairman of the Rautahat District Coordination Committee, said that such a center is necessary for farmers in every municipality in Rautahat, which has a large population of farmers.

Rajiv Kumar Jha, head of the Madhesh Province of the Department of Water and Meteorology, said that centers should be placed at a distance of every five kilometers. Jha, the office head, said that the centers will also play an important role in the conservation of forest areas and infrastructure development.

He said that in the current situation, the Agriculture and Climate Meteorological Center has been 80 percent accurate in its predictions. He said that the center will provide early warnings regarding natural disasters such as hail, drought, heavy rain or floods.

Sitaram Rijal, Superintendent of Police at the Rautahat District Police Office, expressed the view that the Center would provide assistance to minimize human losses.
