Paleti Music Program to Feature Songs by Lyricist Shivashankar Thapa

Kathmandu. The upcoming series of the short musical program Paleti, which has been operating for 21 years, will feature the lyrical compositions of the renowned lyricist Shivashankar Thapa. The program to be held next Friday will feature many of Thapa's songs.

Thapa is a word-artist who has been residing in Birtamod, Jhapa for a long time and pursuing literary practice. Shivashankar is an established name among all Nepali speakers in the Nepali music world. Most of Thapa's lyrical compositions have been set to music and sung by singer and composer Deep Shrestha. The songs composed by Shrestha – 'Bhanthi Meri Uni', 'Bidhuwale Sindur Ko Rahar', 'Ma Ta Aakash Ko Jun Hun', 'Mero Aankha Ma Hardam' have remained equally popular for a long time.
