Madhesh Province Collects Rs 30.17 Billion in Revenue in 11 Months

Janakpurdham. The Madhesh Province government has collected revenue of Rs 30 billion 17 crore 14 lakh 73 thousand in 11 months of the current fiscal year. According to the Ministry of Finance of the Provincial Government, the internal revenue collection so far in the current fiscal year is Rs 4 billion 59 crore 33 lakh 84 thousand.

House and land registration and vehicle tax are considered the main sources of income for the provincial government's internal revenue collection. Information Officer of the Ministry of Finance of the Madhesh Province Government, Anshukumar Jha, informed that during the said period, revenue of Rs 1 billion 18 crore 12 lakh 95 thousand was collected from house and land registration and Rs 2 billion 1 crore 50 lakh 50 thousand from vehicle tax.
