Elephant Calf Found Dead in Sunsari

Sunsari. A wild elephant calf has been found dead in the Gehne Khola located at Bisardi of Barahakshetra Municipality-2.

The calf died after getting stuck in a water swamp while going towards the jungle with its herd from the Jabdi area last night, informed Hemraj Oli, Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Sunsari.
