Man Dies of Rabies in Chandragiri Municipality

Kathmandu. A 48-year-old man has died due to rabies infection in Chandragiri Municipality of Kathmandu.

The man, who did not take the anti-rabies vaccine (ARV) after being bitten by a dog a few weeks ago, was found to be infected. As his condition became critical, he was admitted to Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital (Teku), where he died during treatment on Saturday, informed hospital information officer Samir Kumar Adhikari.
