अवैध लागूऔषधसहित देशका विभिन्न स्थानबाट २६ जना पक्राउ

काठमाडौँ । नेपाल प्रहरीले देशका विभिन्न जिल्लाबाट अवैध तथा नियन्त्रित लागूऔषधसहित २६ जनालाई पक्राउ गरेको छ। पक्राउ परेकामध्ये केहीको साथबाट खैरो हेरोइन, ब्राउनसुगर, गाँजा, अफिम तथा ट्रामाडोल, डाइजेपाम, फेनारगन र बुप्रेनोर्फिनजस्ता नियन्त्रित औषधिजन्य पदार्थ बरामद गरिएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ।

काठमाडौँ महानगरपालिका-१७ कालधाराबाट ट्रामाडोल ५९० ट्याब्लेटसहित दुई जना पक्राउ परेका छन् । त्यस्तै गोकर्णेश्वर नगरपालिका-६ नयाँबस्तीबाट डाइजेपाम, फेनारगन र बुप्रेनोर्फिन गरी ६२ एम्पुलभन्दा बढी नियन्त्रित लागूऔषध तथा नगदसहित दुई जनालाई नियन्त्रणमा लिइएको छ ।

बझाङको केदारस्युँ गाउँपालिका-९ स्थित झोता बजारबाट खैरो हेरोइनजस्तो देखिने पदार्थसहित दुई जना पक्राउ परेका छन् भने सुर्खेतको वीरेन्द्रनगर-१० बसपार्कबाट ब्राउनसुगरसहित तीन जना पक्राउ परेका छन् । सल्यानको बागचौर नगरपालिका-२ खरिबोटबाट ब्राउनसुगरसहित एक जना पक्राउ परेका छन् ।

मोरङमा विभिन्न स्थानबाट आठ जना पक्राउ परेका छन् । उर्लाबारी र बेलबारी क्षेत्रमा गरिएको कारबाहीका क्रममा खैरो हेरोइन, ब्राउनसुगर, ट्रामाडोल, डाइक्लोमाइन, डिजिटल तराजु तथा नगद बरामद गरिएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । थप अनुसन्धानका क्रममा एक व्यक्तिको कोठाबाट समेत ठूलो परिमाणमा ब्राउनसुगर फेला परेको छ ।

रूपन्देहीको रोहिणी गाउँपालिका-४ बाट नियन्त्रित लागूऔषधसहित एक जना, भक्तपुरको मध्यपुर थिमि नगरपालिका–५ बाट ब्राउनसुगरसहित दुई जना, बर्दियाको गुलरिया नगरपालिका-८ बाट ब्राउनसुगरसहित चार जना तथा चितवनको खैरहनी नगरपालिका-८ बाट खैरो हेरोइनसहित एक जना पक्राउ परेका छन् ।

यसैगरी सर्लाहीको ईश्वरपुर नगरपालिका-८ बाट करिब ५५ किलोग्राम गाँजासहित एक जना पक्राउ परेका छन्। मोटरसाइकलमा सवार अर्का एक व्यक्ति फरार रहेको र उनको खोजी भइरहेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ ।

रुकुम पश्चिमको आठविसकोट नगरपालिका-१४ बाट अफिमजस्तो देखिने १० किलो १६० ग्राम पदार्थसहित एक जना पक्राउ परेका छन् । प्रहरीले घटनासम्बन्धी थप अनुसन्धान जारी रहेको जनाएको छ।

Kathmandu. Nepal Police has arrested 26 people from various districts of the country with illegal and controlled drugs. Police said that some of the arrested people were found with brown heroin, brown sugar, marijuana, opium, and controlled drugs such as tramadol, diazepam, phenergan, and buprenorphine.

Two people have been arrested with 590 tablets of Tramadol from Kaladhara, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-17. Similarly, two people have been arrested with more than 62 ampoules of controlled drugs including diazepam, phenergan and buprenorphine and cash from Nayabasti, Gokarneshwor Municipality-6.

Two people have been arrested with a substance that looks like brown heroin from Jhota Bazaar in Kedarsyun Rural Municipality-9 of Bajhang, while three people have been arrested with brown sugar from Birendranagar-10 Bus Park in Surkhet. One person has been arrested with brown sugar from Kharibot in Bagchaur Municipality-2 of Salyan.

Eight people have been arrested from various places in Morang. Police said that during the operation conducted in Urlabari and Belbari areas, brown heroin, brown sugar, tramadol, diclomine, digital scales and cash were seized. During further investigation, a large quantity of brown sugar was also found in one person's room.

One person has been arrested with controlled drugs from Rohini Rural Municipality-4 in Rupandehi, two with brown sugar from Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-5 in Bhaktapur, four with brown sugar from Gulariya Municipality-8 in Bardiya, and one with brown heroin from Khairhani Municipality-8 in Chitwan.

Similarly, a person has been arrested with about 55 kilograms of marijuana from Ishworpur Municipality-8 in Sarlahi. Another person riding a motorcycle is absconding and a search is underway, according to the police.

A person has been arrested with 10 kg 160 grams of a substance that appears to be opium from Athabishkot Municipality-14 in Rukum West. Police have said that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
