Book on Lalitpur Journalism History Launched, Seven Journalists Honored

Lalitpur. The book 'History of Lalitpur Journalism' published by the Federation of Nepali Journalists Lalitpur Branch was released on Saturday.

Former Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut released the book at a program organized on the occasion of the 25th annual general meeting of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Lalitpur Branch. Addressing the program, Raut described the book as an important document of Lalitpur's journalism sector and thanked the branch for its publication. He stated that journalists play an important role in protecting the fundamental rights of citizens by exercising freedom of speech and expression in a democratic system.
