Police Shoot Robber in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Police have opened fire in Jadibuti, Kathmandu. A team from the District Police Range Kathmandu opened fire near Royal Party Palace in Jadibuti and arrested a robber. Ganesh Karki, a resident of Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, has been arrested. He sustained a bullet injury in his left leg. SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Range Kathmandu told Ratopati that the action was taken in self-defense when he encountered police in Jadibuti. He said, 'During the retaliatory action, one of our police personnel was also injured.'
