Rabi Lamichhane Sole Candidate for Rastriya Swatantra Party President

Kathmandu. Rabi Lamichhane has filed a sole candidacy for the post of chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

His sole candidacy was filed on Tuesday at the proposal of the party's senior leader and Prime Minister Balendra Shah. Chief of the Central Election Commission, Bhuvan KC, said that his sole candidacy was filed.

KC said that Lamichhane has become unopposed with his sole candidacy. Now, after the commission completes the necessary procedures, Lamichhane will be announced as unanimously elected.
