Vidushi Rana, National Independent Party MP, Aims to Boost Production

Kathmandu. Vidushi Rana, who has established herself in entrepreneurship, is now a member of the House of Representatives from the National Independent Party. She, who has succeeded in making the shoe brand 'Goldstar' known not only in Nepal but also internationally, says she has become an MP to contribute to policy-making for making the country productive.

"The wrong narrative that entrepreneurs in Nepal are profiteers and cheats has been created, I want to break this," she says. She finds her parliamentary journey meaningful, some fun, and some challenging. However, the various antics in parliament have also made her somewhat weary.
