Opposition Lawmakers Disrupt House Meeting Over Draft Rules

Kathmandu. Opposition party lawmakers have created a ruckus regarding the discussion on the draft report of the House of Representatives Regulations.

In the meeting that started at 8:30 PM on Sunday, opposition parties Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, and CPN-Maoist Centre lawmakers surrounded the well and chanted slogans loudly. They also surrounded the Speaker's seat, demanding that the report submitted by the Regulations Drafting Committee be sent to a parliamentary committee for further discussion.
