Flood Alert Issued for Small Rivers in Eastern and Central Nepal

Kathmandu. The Flood Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has indicated the possibility of sudden floods in small rivers in various parts of the country.

According to the latest bulletin issued by the division, the water flow in small rivers flowing through Jhapa, Morang, Dhankuta, and surrounding districts is expected to increase significantly today. The division has warned residents in the coastal areas to exercise caution, stating there is a low risk of flash floods in those areas.
