Nepali Army celebrates UN Peacekeepers’ Day, honours families of fallen soldiers

PANCHKHAL, June 1: The Nepali Army celebrated International United Nations Peacekeepers’ Day with a special ceremony held at the Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre in Panchkhal, honouring the families of two soldiers who lost their lives during peacekeeping missions and recognising five personnel for their outstanding service in UN operations.
