MOHATTARI. 16 workers, including 10 men and six women from Bardibas Municipality in Mahottari district, have been held captive in a chicken farm in India.
The 16 workers from the Musahar settlement located in Bardibas Municipality-14 were held captive in a chicken farm in Helen village under Jhajhar police station in the Jin district of Haryana state, India. Mukesh, 17, Kisan, 16, Ashik, 13, Amrit, 21, his wife Kiran, 20, Jhari, 35, her wife Lalmuni, 34, daughters Kajal, 16, Sajana, 13, and son Shankar Sada, 9, from Bardibas-14 are among them. Bishundev, 38, his wife Mahawati, 35, son Amrit, 10, Mohan, 40, and his wife Becho Sada, 35, are also included, informed Gurupraasad Timilsina, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Bardibas Area Police Office. Virendra Sada, Karicharan Sada, Ashok Sada, Amarlal Sada, and Manohar Sada from the Musahar settlement have submitted a request to the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi, the capital of India, seeking coordination and cooperation for their rescue, informed Gurupraasad Timilsina.
