Youth Rescued From Mahakali River Island

Mahendranagar. A youth stranded on an island in the Mahakali River in Kanchanpur was rescued safely this morning by a joint team of Armed Police and Nepal Police.

Superintendent of Armed Police Premprakash Sigdel, head of No. 35 Shaileshwori Battalion of Armed Police Force, informed that 52-year-old Umesh Chaulagain of Kavrepalanchok Chaundeurali Rural Municipality-6, who was stranded in the middle of the Mahakali River about two kilometers south of the Dododara-Chandani suspension bridge, was rescued safely.
