Liverpool Set to Appoint Andoni Iraola as New Head Coach

English club Liverpool Football Club has almost certainly appointed Andoni Iraola as its new head coach. International media have reported that the club has reached an agreement in principle with Spanish coach Iraola for a two-year contract.

The 43-year-old Iraola is set to replace former coach Arne Slot. Following Slot's dismissal on Saturday, negotiations began between Liverpool's sporting director Richard Hughes and Iraola. Discussions between both parties have progressed rapidly, and the contract is expected to be formalized within this week.
