अन्नपूर्ण आरोहणको ७६ वर्ष पूरा

म्याग्दी । अन्नपूर्ण प्रथम हिमाल आरोहण भएको ७६ वर्ष पूरा भएको छ । म्याग्दी, कास्की, मनाङ र मुस्ताङ जिल्लाको सिमानामा रहेको आठ हजार ९१ मिटर अग्लो अन्नपूर्ण हिमाल आरोहण गरेको आज ७६ वर्ष पूरा भएको हो । यो हिमालको आधार शिविर म्याग्दीको अन्नपूर्ण गाउँपालिका–४ नारच्याङको भूगोलमा पर्छ ।

आठ हजार मिटरभन्दा अग्लो यस हिमालमा पहिलो मानव पाइला परेका कारण अन्नपूर्णलाई जेठो हिमाल भनिन्छ । सन् १९५० मा जुन ३ मा फ्रान्सका मौरिज हर्जोग र लुई लचेनलको टोलीले अन्नपूर्णको शिखर चुमेको तीन वर्षपछि विश्वको सर्वोच्च शिखर सगरमाथाको सफल आरोहण भएको थियो ।

नेपालको पर्यटन क्षेत्रको विकास र पर्वतारोहणको शुभारम्भ भई हिमाललाई विश्वभर चिनाउने दिनको सम्झनाका रूपमा आज विविध कार्यक्रम गरी दिवस मनाउन लागिएको अन्नपूर्ण गाउँपालिकाका अध्यक्ष भारतकुमार पुनले बताए ।

यस अवसरमा कास्कीको अन्नपूर्ण गाउँपालिकाको आयोजनामा घान्द्रुकतर्फको आधार शिविरतर्फ दौड प्रतियोगिता र नयाँ पदमार्गको प्रवर्द्धनका लागि लमजुङको दोर्दी गाउँपालिकामा अन्नपूर्ण आरोहण दिवस आयोजना गरिएको छ ।

पर्यटन विभागका अनुसार अघिल्लो वर्षसम्म पाँच सय ३६ जनाले आरोहण गरेको अन्नपूर्ण हिमाल चढ्नका लागि यस वर्षको वसन्तयाममा चारवटा समूहका २७ जनाले अनुमति लिएका थिए । अनुमति लिएकामध्ये कतिले सफल आरोहण गरे भन्ने विवरण अद्यावधिक भइरहेको विभागका शाखा अधिकृत शर्मिला बञ्जाडेले बताइन् ।

आज आधार शिविरदेखि नारच्याङसम्म ३६ किलोमिटर दूरीमा दौड, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम र पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह गरेर दिवसको समापन गरिने अन्नपूर्ण गाउँपालिका–४ का वडाध्यक्ष लोकबहादुर फगामीले बताए ।

२० जना सहभागी खुला दौड प्रतियोगितामा विजेतालाई एक लाख रुपैयाँ, उपविजेतालाई ६० हजार रुपैयाँ, तेस्रोलाई ३५ हजार रुपैयाँ र सान्त्वना स्थान हासिल गर्ने तीन–तीन जनालाई १०–१० हजार रुपैयाँ नगद पुरस्कारको व्यवस्था गरिएको छ ।

नेपाल भूतपूर्व खेलाडी मञ्च र गण्डकी प्रदेश एथलेटिक्स सङ्घको प्राविधिक सहयोगमा दौड प्रतियोगिता आयोजना गरिएको हो । दौड प्रतियोगितापश्चात नारच्याङमा सोमबारदेखि सुरु भएको दिवसको समापन, पुरस्कार वितरण र सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम गरिने भएको छ ।

Myagdi. It has been 76 years since the first ascent of Annapurna. Today marks 76 years since the ascent of the 8,091-meter-high Annapurna mountain, located on the border of Myagdi, Kaski, Manang and Mustang districts. The base camp of this mountain is located in the geography of Narchyang, Annapurna Rural Municipality-4, Myagdi.

Annapurna is called the oldest mountain because it was the first human to set foot on this mountain, which is over eight thousand meters high. On June 3, 1950, three years after the French team of Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal reached the summit of Annapurna, the world's highest peak, Everest was successfully climbed.

Annapurna Rural Municipality Chairman Bharat Kumar Pun said that the day is being celebrated today by holding various programs to commemorate the development of Nepal's tourism sector and the launch of mountaineering, which made the Himalayas known to the world.

On this occasion, Annapurna Climbing Day has been organized in Dordi Rural Municipality of Lamjung to promote a running competition towards the base camp towards Ghandruk and a new trekking route, organized by Annapurna Rural Municipality of Kaski.

According to the Department of Tourism, 27 people from four groups had obtained permits to climb Annapurna in the spring of this year, which had been climbed by 536 people last year. The details of how many of those who obtained permits successfully climbed are being updated, said Sharmila Banjade, a branch officer at the department.

Lok Bahadur Phagami, Ward Chairman of Annapurna Rural Municipality-4, said that the day will conclude with a 36-kilometer race from the base camp to Narchyang, a cultural program, and an award distribution ceremony.

In the open race with 20 participants, the winner will receive one lakh rupees, the runner-up will receive 60,000 rupees, the third place will receive 35,000 rupees, and the three consolation places will receive 10,000 rupees each.

The running competition has been organized with the technical support of the Nepal Former Athletes Forum and the Gandaki Province Athletics Association. After the running competition, the day, which began on Monday, will be concluded with a prize distribution and a cultural program in Narchyang.
