Chitwan National Park Sees Increase in Tourist Arrivals

Chitwan. Compared to the previous financial year, tourist arrivals in Chitwan National Park and the buffer community forest have increased in the last fiscal year. In the last financial year, 272,923 tourists came to the area, while in the previous fiscal year, 231,329 tourists visited, said park information officer Avinash Thapamagar.

22,883 tourists from SAARC countries and 88,665 tourists from other countries visited the park. Tourists visit the park to observe one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, bears, elephants, and various species of birds.
