In the last match of the group, DR Congo defeated Uzbekistan 3-1 to register its first-ever victory in World Cup history. With this, DR Congo has achieved a historic feat by reaching the knockout stage of the World Cup for the first time. For DR Congo, Yoane Wissa scored two goals and Fiston Mayele scored one goal.
