Western Europe Heatwave Causes Approximately One Thousand Additional Deaths

Kathmandu. Approximately one thousand additional deaths have occurred due to the heatwave in a large part of Western Europe than expected.

"An estimated figure of approximately one thousand additional deaths has been observed compared to the deaths recorded in the months preceding June 24," said a statement released by Public Health France.
