सातामा २ दिन बिदाको पुनर्विचार गर्दै कोशी सरकार, मुख्यमन्त्रीले मागे सुझाव

विराटनगर । कोशी प्रदेश सरकारले साताको २ दिने बिदालाई पुनर्विचार गर्न गृहकार्य थालेको छ । मुख्यमन्त्री हिक्मतकुमार कार्कीले यसका लागि सुझाव मागेका छन् ।

२ दिने बिदाले खर्च तथा इन्धन खासै उपलब्धि नदेखिएको उनको निचोड छ ।

कार्कीले लेखेका छन्- कोशी प्रदेश सरकारले आफ्ना मन्त्रालय र मातहत कार्यालयलाई हप्ताको ६ दिन नै कार्यदिन बनाएर (साबिक झैँ बिदा शनिबार १ दिन मात्रै) कायम गर्दा कस्तो होला ? हप्ताको ५ दिन मात्रै काम गर्दा कार्यदिन नपुग्ने र खर्च तथा इन्धन बचतमा खासै उपलब्धि देखिएन । यहाँको सुझाव पाउँ !

केन्द्र सरकारले गत चैत २२ गतेको मन्त्रिपरिषद् निर्णयबाट सातामा २ दिन सार्वजनिक बिदा दिने र कार्यालय समय ९-५ बनाउने निर्णय गरेको थियो । पेट्रोलियम पदार्थको आपूर्तिमा देखिएको असहजतालाई मुख्य कारण देखाउँदै यस्तो निर्णय लिएको सरकारको भनाइ छ ।

तर, २ दिन बिदाले सेवाग्राही र अस्पतालमा ओपीडी बिरामीलाई मार परेको, शिक्षण संस्थासमेत बिदा हुँदा विद्यालयमा कोर्स सक्ने दबाबदेखि विद्यार्थी र अभिभावकसमेतलाई समय व्यवस्थापन गर्न अव्यवहारिक भएको भन्दै आलोचना बढिरहेको छ ।

The central government, through a cabinet decision on March 22, had decided to grant two public holidays a week and make office hours 9-5. The government says that the main reason for this decision was the inconvenience seen in the supply of petroleum products.

However, there is growing criticism that the two-day holiday has affected service recipients and OPD patients in hospitals, and that it is impractical for students and parents to manage their time, from the pressure to complete courses at schools during the holiday to the pressure to complete courses at educational institutions.
