Nepal Medical Association Announces Nationwide Hospital Services Shutdown

Kathmandu. The Nepal Medical Association has announced a shutdown of all services except emergencies in hospitals across the country today (Tuesday) in protest of the heinous attack on doctors and health workers at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj and the mistreatment at the Parsa District Administration Office.

Issuing a press release on Monday, the association informed that all services except emergencies would be halted in government, non-governmental, and private hospitals across the country on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
