Free Surgery for Uterine Prolapse at Sankhuwasabha District Hospital

Sankhuwasabha. Free surgery has been performed for women with uterine prolapse at Sankhuwasabha District Hospital. Poor women from Bhojpur and Sankhuwasabha suffering from uterine prolapse benefited from the camp operated at the district hospital from Jestha 19 to 22.<r>

Hospital Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Santosh Dev said that women suffering from uterine prolapse but unable to afford treatment elsewhere due to financial problems have benefited from this. He said that the camp has provided great relief to many women from rural and remote areas who are forced to live with this problem for years due to weak financial condition and lack of public awareness.<r>
