Political Parties, Representatives Pledge Peace After Devanaganj Incident

Biratnagar. In view of the tension created after the incident in Devanaganj Rural Municipality-3, Captainganj, Sunsari, political parties, representatives, civil society, and representatives of various organizations in the district have made public a 5-point joint commitment to maintain peace, harmony, and social unity.

The commitment expresses serious concern over the communal disputes, violence, and riots seen in various sectors after the incident, and all parties have pledged to play an active role from their respective positions to stop such undesirable activities.
