Ncell to Begin Shutting Down 3G Services in Parts of Nepal From July 6

Kathmandu. Private telecom operator Ncell has announced that it will begin discontinuing its 3G services in selected parts of the country from July 6 as part of its network modernization plan to expand advanced mobile services.

In a notice issued on Sunday, the company said the first phase of the 3G shutdown will cover local levels in districts across Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces. Districts in Gandaki and Sudurpashchim provinces will not be affected during this phase.
