Cyclist Dies in Rautahat Road Accident

Rautahat. A cyclist has died in a collision with an unidentified vehicle on the Garuda-Samanpur road in Sundarpur, Gadhimai Municipality-4, in the eastern part of Rautahat. Police have stated that the identity of the deceased has not yet been ascertained.

According to DSP Shankar Prasad Acharya, chief of the Area Police Office, Garuda, the cyclist sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot after being hit by a vehicle with an unknown number. Although the exact time of the incident could not be confirmed, locals saw the body on the roadside around 6 AM this Monday and informed the police. Upon receiving the information, a police team led by DSP Acharya reached the scene.
