TMC Leader Jahangir Khan Arrested Near Nepal Border

Kolkata. West Bengal Police's Special Task Force arrested Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Jahangir Khan on Monday. This arrest was made from the Nepal border.

Seven FIRs were registered against Khan at Falta Police Station in South 24 Pargana district of West Bengal. Media reports claim that Jahangir's supporters threatened women with gang rape, but no official statement has been issued by the Bengal police in this regard so far.
