क्रियाशील सदस्यता अद्यावधिक गर्न कांग्रेसको अन्तिम आग्रह, ४ लाख १७ हजारले पाए डिजिटल परिचय नम्बर

काठमाडौँ । नेपाली कांग्रेसले आगामी १५औँ महाधिवेशनलाई लक्षित गर्दै क्रियाशील सदस्यता अद्यावधिकको अन्तिम म्याद जेठ २८ गतेसम्म कायम रहेको जनाएको छ ।

पार्टीले हालसम्म ४ लाख १७ हजार ७५३ क्रियाशील सदस्यले एनसीआईडी (डिजिटल परिचय नम्बर) प्राप्त गरिसकेको जानकारी दिएको छ ।

नेपाली कांग्रेस सदस्यता व्यवस्थापन केन्द्रीय समितिको आइतबार बसेको बैठकले क्रियाशील सदस्यता अद्यावधिक र नयाँ सदस्यता वितरणसम्बन्धी विभिन्न निर्णय गरेको हो ।

बैठक महामन्त्री एवं समितिका संयोजक प्रदीप पौडेलको अध्यक्षतामा तथा सभापति गगनकुमार थापाको उपस्थितिमा पार्टी केन्द्रीय कार्यालय सानेपामा बसेको थियो ।

बैठकले डिजिटल प्रणालीमा अद्यावधिक गर्न योग्य ७ लाख ८२ हजार २०९ क्रियाशील सदस्यमध्ये ४ लाख १७ हजार ७५३ जनाले एनसीआईडी प्राप्त गरिसकेको तथा ९८ हजार १४३ जनाले स्वयं अद्यावधिक फाराम पेश गरी प्रक्रिया अगाडि बढाएको जनाएको छ ।

कांग्रेसले जेठ २८ गतेसम्मको समयसीमालाई अन्तिम म्याद कायम गरिएको पुनः स्मरण गराउँदै सबै क्रियाशील सदस्यलाई अनिवार्य रूपमा सदस्यता अद्यावधिक गर्न आग्रह गरेको छ ।

आगामी महाधिवेशन पूर्ण रूपमा प्रविधिमा आधारित हुने र महाधिवेशनमा सहभागी हुन एनसीआईडी नै प्रमुख आधार हुने निर्णय बैठकले गरेको छ ।

बैठकले पार्टीका पदाधिकारी, केन्द्रीय सदस्य, प्रदेश, जिल्ला, क्षेत्र, पालिका तथा वडा तहका पदाधिकारी, भातृ तथा शुभेच्छुक संस्थाका पदाधिकारी, सांसद तथा जनप्रतिनिधिलाई जेठ २७ गतेभित्र अनिवार्य रूपमा आफ्नो सदस्यता अद्यावधिक गर्न निर्देशन दिएको छ ।

त्यस्तै, पार्टीको अनुशासन समितिबाट कारबाहीमा परेका, अन्य राजनीतिक दलमा प्रवेश गरेका वा आधिकारिक उम्मेदवारविरुद्ध बागी उम्मेदवारी दिएका तथा अन्य दलका उम्मेदवारको प्रस्तावक, समर्थक वा प्रचारक बनेका व्यक्तिहरूको सदस्यता प्रमाणका आधारमा केन्द्रीय अभिलेखबाट हटाइने निर्णय पनि गरिएको छ।

बैठकले नयाँ क्रियाशील सदस्यता वितरणको प्रक्रियालाई समेत निर्वाध रूपमा अगाडि बढाउने निर्णय गर्दै विधानबमोजिम योग्य नेपाली नागरिकलाई अनलाइन प्रणालीमार्फत नयाँ क्रियाशील सदस्यता उपलब्ध गराउन पार्टीका सबै तहलाई निर्देशन दिएको छ ।

पार्टीले सदस्यता अद्यावधिकमा कुनै प्राविधिक समस्या आएमा आधिकारिक डिजिटल प्रणालीमार्फत उपलब्ध गराइएको सहायता केन्द्रमा सम्पर्क गर्न आग्रह गरेको का.बा. मुख्य सचिव कृष्णप्रसाद दुलालले जानकारी दिए ।

Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress has announced that the deadline for updating active membership, targeting the upcoming 15th General Convention, has been extended to Jestha 28.

The party has informed that 417,753 active members have received NCID (Digital Identity Number) so far.

The meeting of the Nepali Congress Membership Management Central Committee held on Sunday made various decisions regarding updating active membership and distributing new memberships.

The meeting was held at the party central office, Sanepa, under the chairmanship of General Secretary and Committee Coordinator Pradeep Poudel and in the presence of President Gagan Kumar Thapa.

The meeting stated that out of 782,209 active members eligible to update in the digital system, 417,753 have already received NCID and 98,143 have submitted the update form themselves and moved the process forward.

The Congress has reminded all active members that the deadline has been set for 28th Jestha and has urged them to mandatorily update their membership.

The meeting has decided that the upcoming general convention will be completely technology-based and that NCID will be the main basis for participating in the convention.

The meeting has directed party office bearers, central members, provincial, district, regional, municipal and ward level office bearers, office bearers of sister and well-wishing organizations, parliamentarians and people's representatives to mandatorily update their membership by Jestha 10.

Similarly, it has been decided that those who have been subject to action by the party's disciplinary committee, have joined other political parties, have filed a rebel candidacy against the official candidate, and have become proposers, supporters, or campaigners of candidates of other parties will be removed from the central records based on their membership proof.

The meeting decided to proceed with the process of distributing new active memberships without any hindrance and directed all levels of the party to provide new active memberships to eligible Nepali citizens through the online system as per the statute.

The party has urged people to contact the help center provided through the official digital system if they encounter any technical problems in updating their membership, said Acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal.
