Four Arrested for Robbing Over 1 Million Rupees in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Four people have been arrested by the District Police Range, Kathmandu, on charges of robbing more than ten and a half lakh rupees by intimidating a person who came to buy land in Vanasthali, Kathmandu, and handcuffing him by claiming to be 'police'.

Dhan Bahadur Moktan, 43, of Lalbandi Municipality 8, Khativada Chowk, Sarlahi, had come to Kathmandu for land purchase and was staying in the room of his acquaintance Sher Bahadur Moktan. On the evening of Asar 9, around 7 PM, a group of 5-6 people came, took Dhan Bahadur under control, and fled after looting 10 lakh 95 thousand rupees, a mobile phone, and blank checks from Siddhartha Bank.
