Traffic Dept Warns Strict Action Against Non-Compliant Headlights and Horns

Kathmandu. The Department of Transport Management has warned of strict action against those who install headlights and horns different from those specified by the manufacturer and against standards. The department, issuing a public notice, has alerted all vehicle owners and drivers not to illegally change lights and horns.

According to the department, in recent times, it has been observed that powerful lights outside the technical specifications of the manufacturing company are being installed near the headlight area or other parts of vehicles. The department has stated that such bright lights cause dazzling to the eyes of other drivers and pedestrians on the road and increase the risk of accidents.
