National Assembly Meeting Adjourned Due to Opposition Obstruction

Kathmandu. The National Assembly meeting has also been adjourned due to the obstruction of opposition party MPs. In Tuesday's meeting, opposition party MPs obstructed the National Assembly meeting demanding that Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah correct his statement in Parliament.

National Assembly Chairman Narayan Dahal announced the adjournment until 2 PM on June 28, as opposition MPs stood up and protested against his request to sit down and discuss the agenda of the meeting. The House of Representatives meeting has also been continuously obstructed.
