कीर्तिमानी आरोही कामी रिता र लाक्पालाई प्रधानमन्त्रीको बधाई

काठमाडौं । प्रधानमन्त्री बालेन शाहले ३२औँ पटक सगरमाथाको सफल आरोहण गरेका कामी रिता शेर्पा र ११औँ पटक सगरमाथा आरोहण गर्ने लाक्पा शेर्पालाई बधाई तथा उच्च सम्मान व्यक्त गरेका छन् ।

सामाजिक सञ्जाल एक्समार्फत प्रधानमन्त्री शाहले आरोहीहरुको यो सर्वोच्च सफलताले नेपालको पर्वतीय पर्यटनलाई अझ विश्वसनीय, गौरवपूर्ण र आकर्षक बनाउँदै अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय जगतमा नेपालको पहिचानलाई अझ उज्यालो बनाउने विश्वास लिएको बताएका छन् ।

शेर्पाले आज बिहान १०ः१२ बजे सगरमाथाको ३२औँ पटक सफल आरोहण गर्दै आफ्नै विश्व कीर्तिमान पुनः नवीकरण गरेका हुन् । “विश्वको सर्वोच्च शिखर सगरमाथा केवल एउटा भौगोलिक उचाइको अवयव मात्रै होइन, नेपालको आत्मसम्मान, साहस, धैर्य र हिमाली सभ्यताको सर्वोच्च प्रतीक हो। यही गौरवशाली हिमालमाथि आज नेपाली आरोहीहरूले पुनः इतिहास लेखेका छन्”, प्रधानमन्त्रीले भनेका छन् ।

साथै, ‘माउन्टेन क्विन’का रूपमा परिचित लाक्पा शेर्पाले आजै बिहान ९ः३० बजे ११औं पटक सगरमाथा आरोहण गर्दै महिला आरोहीमध्ये सबैभन्दा धेरै पटक सगरमाथा आरोहण गर्ने विश्व कीर्तिमान कायम गरिन्

“निरन्तरको अदम्य साहस, कठोर आत्मअनुशासन र कर्मप्रतिको इमान्दार समर्पणले मात्रै यस्तो ऐतिहासिक सफलता प्राप्त हुन सक्दछ”, प्रधानमन्त्री शाहले भनेका छन्, “खुसीको यो क्षणलाई सबैजनासँग साझा गर्दै दुवैजना आरोहीलाई हार्दिक बधाई तथा शुभकामना व्यक्त गर्दछु ।”

नेपालको पर्वतारोहण इतिहासमा शेर्पा समुदायको योगदान असाधारण र अनुपम रहेको उनको भनाइ छ । हिमाललाई ईश्वर झैं पुजन गर्ने, जोखिमलाई जिम्मेवारीका रूपमा स्वीकार गर्ने र विश्वभरका आरोहीलाई सुरक्षित रूपमा शिखरसम्म पुर्‍याउने शेर्पाहरू वास्तवमै हिमालयका अदृश्य नायक भएको उल्लेख गर्दै प्रधानमन्त्री शाहले उनीहरूको साहस, ज्ञान र श्रम बिना हिमालको गौरव अधुरो रहने बताएका छन् ।

“सम्पूर्ण नेपालीको तर्फबाट कामी रिता शेर्पा, लाक्पा शेर्पा तथा सम्पूर्ण आरोही, शेर्पा समुदाय र पर्वतारोहण क्षेत्रमा समर्पित सबैप्रति हार्दिक बधाई तथा उच्च सम्मान व्यक्त गर्दछु”, प्रधानमन्त्रीले भने ।

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah has congratulated and expressed high respect to Kami Rita Sherpa, who successfully climbed Mount Everest for the 32nd time, and Lakpa Sherpa, who climbed Mount Everest for the 11th time.

Through social media, Prime Minister Shah expressed his confidence that this supreme success of the climbers will make Nepal's mountain tourism more credible, proud, and attractive, and will further brighten Nepal's identity in the international community.

Sherpa successfully scaled Mount Everest for the 32nd time at 10:12 am today, renewing his own world record. "The world's highest peak, Mount Everest, is not just a geographical height, but the supreme symbol of Nepal's self-respect, courage, patience and Himalayan civilization. Today, Nepali climbers have written history again on this glorious mountain," the Prime Minister said.

Also, Lakpa Sherpa, known as the 'Mountain Queen', set a world record for the most number of summits of Mount Everest by a female climber by climbing the 11th time at 9:30 am today.

"Such a historic success can only be achieved through continuous indomitable courage, rigorous self-discipline, and sincere dedication to work," said Prime Minister Shah. "Sharing this moment of joy with everyone, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to both climbers."

He said that the contribution of the Sherpa community to the mountaineering history of Nepal is extraordinary and unparalleled. Stating that the Sherpas, who worship the mountains like gods, accept risks as a responsibility and take climbers from all over the world safely to the summit, are truly the invisible heroes of the Himalayas, Prime Minister Shah said that without their courage, knowledge and hard work, the glory of the Himalayas would remain incomplete.

"On behalf of all Nepalis, I express my heartfelt congratulations and high respect to Kami Rita Sherpa, Lakpa Sherpa, and all climbers, the Sherpa community, and all those dedicated to the mountaineering field," the Prime Minister said.
