Security Post Established in Bajura's Ranisen Amidst Border Dispute

Bajura. An temporary Border Security Post (BOP) and police post will be established in the Ranisen area of Himali Rural Municipality for the protection of the area and the safety of citizens.

Following an incident on Jestha 3rd where locals from Humla beat and held Ward Member Pemagara Gurung and others hostage for three days in Ranisen Lampata of Himali Rural Municipality-3, and an incident on Jestha 5th where locals from Ranisen Lampata were beaten by locals from Humla Kharnath Rural Municipality, a temporary joint BOP and police post of Armed Police and Nepal Police will be established in the area.
