Kathmandu. The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has stated that it is unfortunate to have to debate the country's border issues in the House of Representatives while wearing a logo with Nepal's map on their chests. CPN MP Parmesh Hamal said so, giving special time in the House of Representatives meeting.
"It is heartbreaking to debate dividedly on the issue of Nepal's border while wearing Nepal's map on our chests," Hamal said.
He stated that Prime Minister Balendra Shah made objectionable remarks against Nepal's territorial integrity. He sarcastically remarked that no ruling leader in the world would make such a statement regarding borders.
He said that the Prime Minister should come to the rostrum of the House and apologize, and the words he spoke should be removed from the parliamentary record.
