Taudaha people worry over Bagmati River erosion

Some houses in the eastern belt of Taudaha, Kathmandu, have suffered erosion by the Bagmati River flood. Taudaha, located in Kirtipur Municipality-6, is one of the tourist destinations of the Kathmandu Valley. As the Bagmati River changed its course over time, it began cutting soil on the western bank for two years, ultimately putting at risk the settlements on the eastern and southern belts of Taudaha.
