Rautahat Police Seize Over 9 Million Rupees Worth of Pumpkin Seeds

Rautahat. Rautahat police have seized pumpkin seeds worth more than 9 million rupees in a special operation in the Nepal-India border area. Police said that the seized materials were found ready to be illegally exported to India.<

According to DSP Basanta Gautam, spokesperson for the District Police Office Rautahat, a joint team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force raided the Bankul Tole area of Baudhimai Municipality-7 on Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM based on special information. A large quantity of pumpkin seeds was found hidden, covered with a tarpaulin, near the border road.<
