Nepal and India Discuss Labor Cooperation in Geneva

Geneva. A courtesy meeting was held between the Labour Ministers of Nepal and India on the occasion of the 114th International Labour Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland. Ramji Yadav, Minister for Youth, Labour and Employment, and Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of State for Labour and Employment of the Government of India, held a bilateral meeting in Geneva on Wednesday.

According to the ministry, this meeting was mainly focused on strengthening cooperation between Nepal and India in the areas of labour mobility, decent employment, skill development, social protection, and safe labour migration. This dialogue was held with the objective of making the long-standing labour relations between the two countries more secure and organized.
