Around 2.5 million farmers enrolled in Farmer Registration System

Kathmandu, June 11

Around 2.5 million farmers have been enlisted in the Farmer Registration System of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forests and Environment. The farmers were registered based on land and production details. Officer at the Agriculture Information Centre, Sanjeev Pandit, shared that the farmers were enlisted through an online system to provide necessary subsidies and facilities to increase production.
