MP Thaguna Criticizes Government Budget for Border Areas

Kathmandu. UML MP Ganesh Thaguna, elected from Darchula, said that the government has not allocated sufficient budget for the roads in the border areas.

MP Thaguna, whose district includes Lipulek and Kalapani, questioned the nature of the special priority the government claims to provide, citing the low budget for the border region. Discussing the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084 budget, Thaguna shared in parliament that while the border issue is debated, the people in the geographical area are suffering further.
