Shram Sanskriti Party Chair Harka Sampang Rai Criticizes Budget

Kathmandu. Shram Sanskriti Party Chairman Harka Sampang Rai has said that the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084 is like a wound on the foot and is like trying to wear new shoes without healing it. “There is a wound on the foot now, new shoes have been sought without treating it,” he said. He said that the budget has failed to set priorities. “There is a problem of not getting drinking water now, the telecom network does not work in remote hilly areas. The budget did not prioritize that,” he said in the parliament. He satirized the government by saying that Nepal exists outside of Kathmandu as well.
