Spain Goalkeeper Unai Simon Sets New FIFA World Cup Clean Sheet Record

Kathmandu. Spain's goalkeeper Unai Simon has set a new record by becoming the goalkeeper who has not conceded a goal for the longest time in the history of the FIFA World Cup.

Simon has set a new world record by not conceding a goal for 519 consecutive minutes in the final stage matches of the World Cup. With this, he has broken the record of 518 minutes of clean sheet set by Italian goalkeeper Walter Zenga in the 1990 World Cup.
