सर्वोच्चको आदेशपछि पनि सीमामा आतंक नरोकिएकोमा कांग्रेस सांसदको आपत्ति

काठमाडौं । नेपाली कांग्रेसका सांसद नरेन्द्रकुमार केरुङले सीमा क्षेत्रमा भन्सार करबारे सर्वोच्च अदालतको आदेश अझै कार्यान्वयन नआएको भन्दै सरकारको ध्यानाकर्षण गराएका छन्। प्रतिनिधिसभाको बैठकमा बोल्दै सरकारले सीमा क्षेत्रका नागरिकमाथि आतंकित पार्ने काम नगरेका बताए ।

उनले भने, ‘सीमा क्षेत्रमा बसोबास गर्ने आम नागरिकहरूको भान्सामा चाहिने अत्यावश्यक वस्तु, औषधि लगायतका विषय आयात गर्दा नागरिकलाई आतंकित गर्ने सरकारको निर्णयलाई अदालतले रोकेको छ। तर अदालतको आदेश अहिलेसम्म कार्यान्वयन नहुँदा समस्या ज्यूँ का त्यूँ छ ।’

सर्वसाधारण जनताको पेटमा लात्ती हान्नको साटोमा ठूला-ठूला तस्करहरूलाई समाउन उनले सरकारको ध्यानाकर्षण गराए ।

उनले निवर्तमान गृहमन्त्री सुधन गुरुङलाई चोख्यानकै लागि आयोग गठन गरिएको हुनसक्ने बताए ।

उनले भने, ‘निवर्तमान गृहमन्त्रीको प्रकरणमा छानबिन समिति गठन भएको छ। केही दिनमा म सफाइ पाउँछु भन्ने उहाँको अभिव्यक्तिले तीनवटा विषयका विज्ञ सम्मिलित आयोगमाथि प्रश्न उठेको छ। आयोग सत्ता र शक्तिको त्रासमा निष्पक्ष छानबिन गर्ने दायराबाट नउम्कोस् ।’

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress MP Narendra Kumar Kerung has drawn the government's attention to the fact that the Supreme Court's order on customs duty in the border areas has not yet been implemented. Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives, he said that the government has not acted to terrorize citizens in the border areas.

He said, "The court has stopped the government's decision to terrorize citizens by importing essential items, medicines, and other items needed for the kitchens of ordinary citizens living in the border areas. But the problem is that the court order has not been implemented yet."

He drew the government's attention to catching big smugglers instead of kicking the common people in the stomach.

He said that the commission may have been formed to appease outgoing Home Minister Sudhan Gurung.

He said, "An investigation committee has been formed into the case of the outgoing Home Minister. His statement that he will be cleared in a few days has raised questions about the commission comprising experts in three subjects. The commission should not deviate from the scope of conducting an impartial investigation out of fear of power and authority."
