दिउँसै लालटिन बालेर आन्दोलनमा उत्रिए वकिल (तस्बिरहरू)

काठमाडौं । सर्वोच्च अदालत प्रशासनले न्यायिक प्रक्रियामा अवरोध सिर्जना गरेको भन्दै नेपाल बार एसोसिएसनले लालटिन बालेर विरोध प्रदर्शन गरेको छ ।

संवैधानिक महत्वका रिट निवेदन दर्ता नगरी सर्वोच्च प्रशासनले न्यायिक प्रक्रियामा अवरोध सिर्जना गरेको नेपाल बारको जिकिर छ । प्रदर्शनमा उत्रिएका कानून व्यवसायीहरूले न्यायको खोजी, स्वच्छ प्रक्रियाको खोजी लेखिएका प्लेकार्ड प्रदर्शन गरेका थिए ।

नेपाल बार एसोसिएसनका अध्यक्ष प्रा. डा. विजयप्रसाद मिश्रले सबैका लागि खुला हुनुपर्ने अदालतभित्रै मुद्दा दर्ता नगर्ने, अल्झाएर राख्ने कामको सदैव बारले विरोध गर्ने बताए ।

विगत केही समयदेखि संवैधानिक महत्वका विभिन्न रिट निवेदनहरू सर्वोच्च अदालत प्रशासनबाटै दर्ता नगरी फर्काइएको र त्यसविरुद्ध परेका निवेदन समेत लामो समयसम्म दर्ता नगरी न्यायमार्गमा अवरोध सिर्जना गरिएको बारको आरोप छ ।

यसैगरी, अदालतमा विचाराधीन रहेका विषयमा संसद्मा छलफल भएको प्रति पनि बारले आपत्ति जनाएको छ ।

Kathmandu. The Nepal Bar Association has lit lanterns and staged a protest, saying the Supreme Court administration is obstructing the judicial process.

The Nepal Bar Association has alleged that the Supreme Court has obstructed the judicial process by not registering writ petitions of constitutional importance. The protesting legal practitioners displayed placards reading "Search for justice, search for a fair process."

Nepal Bar Association President Prof. Dr. Vijay Prasad Mishra said that the bar will always oppose the practice of not registering cases within the courts, which should be open to everyone, and keeping them in limbo.

The bar alleges that for some time now, various writ petitions of constitutional importance have been returned by the Supreme Court administration without being registered, and that even petitions filed against them have been left unregistered for a long time, creating obstacles in the path of justice.

Similarly, the Bar has also objected to the discussion in Parliament of issues pending in the courts.
