Bus Accident in Kavre Claims 8 Lives

Kathmandu. The death toll from the bus accident in Buchakot, Kavre has reached 8. Eight people died in the accident of a bus with number Ba.3 Kha 8398 going from Banepa to Kharpachok of Roshi Rural Municipality.

DSP Rabin Bishwa of the District Police Office, Kavre informed Ratopati that the death toll from the accident has reached 8. He said that 16 people injured in the accident are undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital.

The bus that met with an accident in Namobuddha Municipality-2 has fallen about 200 meters below the BP Highway. It is estimated that 25-30 people were traveling in the Arniko Yatayat bus.
