Two Govt Hospitals in Chitwan See Increased Patient Load

Chitwan. The patient load has increased at two government hospitals here in Chitwan - Bharatpur Hospital and BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. The number of patients coming for outpatient services at the two government hospitals has increased after the health insurance program was removed from the two medical colleges in Bharatpur.

Bharatpur Hospital, Health Insurance Program Chief Liladhar Poudel informed that 2,323 patients daily and BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital Executive Director Dr. Umesh Nepal informed that 850 patients daily are provided outpatient services from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
